Just in time for the holidays, MAC Cosmetics has opened a pop-up shop at Singapore Changi airport’s budget terminal, which serves mostly Asian low-cost carriers and regional flights.
In addition to the three sets I mentioned earlier, the MAC Packed to Go collection also has two eyeshadow palettes that will only be available at duty-free shops.This is one of them, the MAC Packed to Go 6 Cool Smoky Eye Shadows. Despite the name, I wouldn’t consider most of the shades in this palette cool. The six colours are Seedy Pearl, Satin Taupe, Tendersmoke, A. May 24, 2009 There’s a MAC counter inside the massive DFS Galleria (duty-free store) at 330 Royal Hawaiian Avenue, a Costco-sized makeup Mecca that caters primarily to international travelers from Japan. But the store is wide open to everyone, and the MAC counter carries most of the current MAC Travel Exclusives, including several of the new spring.
The 25sq m space is staffed by MAC makeup artists who will demonstrate techniques, assist consumers in discovering new products and provide expert information on international beauty trends.

The temporary store will be available at the location for six to nine months, according to MAC, and was opened in partnership with the airport company and beauty retailer Nuance-Watson Singapore. MAC also said the pop-up project was in response to increasing international demand for the brand.
While I haven’t seen the store in person (and have never visited the budget terminal at Changi as I usually fly there from London), the shop looks good from the pictures I was sent. Do leave a comment if you visit it during your travels!
